"CDs until Platinum"? What's that mean?
If 1,000,000 copies of an album are shipped to stores, the album can be certified platinum. It's a common misconception that 1,000,000 sales to consumers are required for an album to become platinum, but since we like that version better, we're going to pretend we don't know the real arithmetic. The number shown is how many CD sales we need before "take what you will" goes platinum. We're holding our collective breath...

What's "Album Status"?
CDs can be certified as gold (500,000 copies), platinum (1,000,000 copies) and diamond (10,000,000 copies). However, since we're an independent band, those numbers will take a long time to reach. For more fun, we're inventing certification categories based on traditional anniversary gifts. Multiply each anniversary by 100 to get the category -- for example, 400 sales would give us a Fruit / Flowers album.
